Programme tought in English. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential from the beginning of the course. All classwork and examinations involve written reports or verbal presentations in English. Compulsary German classes are offered for six weeks prior to the beginning of the Master\'s programme as well as during the first three semester for all students up to the level \"Grundstufe 2\" in the German language system.

Description of Content Law and Finance. The teaching is interdisciplinary as students are trained in both the fields of law and of business and economics. Course content deals mainly with international and European legal and financial issues. Students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical insight during their studies at the ILF. They are taught the specific skills required in the global financial world, whether in law firms, banks, regulatory bodies or consulting firms.
